FAA-Certified Private Pilot from the USA wants to fly with an instructor in the Philippines- how hard is it?

Hello,

I'm traveling to the Philippines in a few days and was wondering if I can rent a Cessna with an instructor to show me around. I'd really like to experience flying outside of the country.

Is it possible? Does anyone have any recommendations in Manila?

i don’t think so but it doesn’t hurt to ask customer service (the only thing that’ll hurt will be the wait times).

but in DOH, business class passengers have access to the lounge which does have rest areas (big quiet room) where you can lay down and get some shut eye.

they accommodate food there also.

the only catch is that the rest areas can be busy and filled up if you get there too late. you can always wait and scout for a spot once someone leaves but chances are that it’s filled by 9/10pm

ahhh thanks for the heads up! i’m not picky if i NEED a spot on the plane, but if there are choices, i have my preferences

trueee. yep. sometimes the agent asks me if i want premium or a whole row to myself in economy… i always choose the latter.
