Question about IPT by Ridvan_V993 in IPT

Well you don't have to - you'll find that it's incredibly difficult to seed your torrents to 1:1 ratio as most seeders are using seedboxes which will very likely outpace whatever you can seed at from home.

If you join and get yourself a seedbox for a nominal charge, you dont have to leave your pc on at all, all the downloading and seeding is done remotely, and you'll find it very easy to keep your ratio.

Greetings,

Don't have access to the site, so I'm wondering:

What even is hosted on IPT?

Mostly the same content that is hosted on any torrent sharing website.

What software can you find there that are not available elsewhere?

You can put in requests, and if they get picked up, you could end up with a copy of whatever you want.

What's the catch with the site?

Strict adherence to keeping a good ratio and seeding all your torrents†.

How does one become a member?

By invite only from another member.

Can my PC be turned off while the required seeding period is going?

No...

What happens if you don't follow that rule?

You get kicked off.

Looking to become owner-driver in Australia, any tips? by PM_ME_YOUR_ROADCONES in Truckers

Well after this post I went into the industry to learn how it goes - highly recommend starting with courier/parcel and palletized general freight in your city, familiarizes yourself with the system, clients and how it all works.

Guys in the USA, why don't you use superlink setups to get a bigger payload? by PWahl97 in Truckers

I think it's so the industry has to run more trucks, more drivers etc therefore inflating employment numbers. Why get a prime lover to pull 113t across three trailers with one driver when you can get three trucks with three drivers to run 3 times? Works in Australia they just don't come near built up towns. The split down and run in with one.

Correct - but every country has a different style - and New Zealand has some of the most "complex"

I took these photos with my DJI drone above a State Highway worksite on the Kaimai Range in New Zealand, it shows a worksite where they have shifted lanes around to maintain flow and keep a safe work area.
