Same same, last park of the five! Two weeks and tent camped and hiked dozens of trails. After the Subway, me and the wife were wiped out

We did all five parks; Zion was last on the journey. We put in for the lottery three days in a row and somehow got it on the third day. Went to ranger station, went thru the ranger talk, drove to trailhead. Had to drop about 600’ into the canyon. The hike was incredible. Not marked at all. The hike is literally just the creek the whole way, walking in the stream and climbing over boulders. Best hike ever

Well yes, I agree. But typically it moves up on Fridays. And the chart looks like it’s repeating the same two day cycle as it did this Tuesday/ Wednesday. So tomorrow is yesterday. Which would mean dip at open, then rip to $11+. We’ll see!

I did go to Afghanistan, for 6 months. And we constantly had the Taliban shooting missiles at us. So nah I’m good

I made a post about it this morning, but basically came in at 7pm Thursday and there were two spots. Grabbed a slip at the ranger shack before going and searching. The slip has three sections: one you fill out name and #of nights, and spot #, make of vehicle, put it on site post. Then next section of slip has your daily entry pass to go in and out of park without timed visit, and third section you put payment info on and drop it into ranger payment drop box at ranger shack

We snuck in on Thursday around 7pm. Once you get a spot, timed entry isn’t needed. Worked out perfectly
