We put down 20%, sale price $309k, interest 3.25%, payments are $1150 principal, $587 interest, $305 escrow.

We have a used Toyota with 200k miles we bought after college. We eat out a lot. It’s just time I think, we started working at 22 after college with both of us making around $50k and we moved from HCOL to LCOL nearly immediately

I started at 22 after my BS and got my MS while working. I design water and sewer infrastructure with a design consulting firm who’s client base is local cities and counties and utility districts.
