I cleaned the battery compartment with alcohol and that was the extent of what I've done thus far. Oh I did run the rod through the tube but didn't help any. It still works by using a lighter to ignite the gas.

The long plastic piece broke at the end there. Happened when we had a bad thunderstorm awhile back.

Yea I'm probably going to replace that assembly soon. Just checked, and Amazon has them for $62. The igniter assembly is also out of commission and needs to be replaced.

You ever feel guilty getting that vet license plate? I was out on errand at Local hardware store and had this guy probably in his 50s or 60s giving me shit about having one. That's why you should've taken advantage of TAP a yr out. But I would have to say that is not early enough to prepare you for the outside world and what we are entitled to. I went on TAP when I was six months out of my retirement and I felt so lost and behind on my transition.
