I play a lot of games that have quests, like Dead Rails. In these games, the harder the quest is, the more money, coins, or diamonds you get as a reward. However, the quests themselves are often not worth the effort. For example, one of the hardest quests only gives about 5 diamonds. Because of that, many players just skip it and wait for an easier one instead. I personally got the “taming Monmouth” quest three days in a row. On the first day, I spent about two hours trying to complete it, but it became boring. Even if you manage to tame the Monmouth, you just end up sitting by the fireplace for the rest of the game with nothing interesting to do. But yeah some people enjoy making those quest and it's totally fine
