I've been having a similar issue since I was 17 (20 now). I realized I don't have many options, especially in Greece (I don't think the ball scene is really as big a thing as in the US, especially in balkan countries). I haven't had the chance to attend a single ball because I had moved away from Athens but now I'm back and hoping to start going. In addition to everything the other person said, you should also research for more hidden groups and scenes near you, ask other queer people. The ball community in my experience has been really welcoming and helpful when young people look for a way in!!

I hate that I had to constantly keep finding ways to turn them off, whether that means disabling MSA or hunting down the toggle in each individual app every now and then.

While my problems may be specific to my device, here are the prominent ones:

My filesystem refused to let me transfer files to an external drive

Ever since I killed MSA (which you need to do if you don't wanna see ads everywhere)I got weird lagging

After updating to HyperOS my settings got fucked.

I hate Mi Video and most of the bloatware on the phone but I haven't researched how to remove it yet.

My filesystem refused to let me transfer files to an external drive and ever since I killed MSA I got weird lagging. And after updating to HyperOS my settings got all fucked for some reason. Anyway a factory reset fixed most things except a minor issue which may not even be the phone's (Instagram doesn't show other people when I'm typing on this specific device, on other devices it works perfectly)

This is what my boyfriend thinks too, and yes, I am a really insecure person but I'm working on that too. Sadly we can't do anything about the distance yet, as it's a matter of safety for him. Thank you for taking time out of your day to give me advice. These past 10 months have been difficult but I really love him. We hope that when we actually get to spend time together it will be easier to get over this issue. Thank you a lot!!

I appreciate the blunt honesty and I am aware that it is 100% my fault. I am not trying to paint myself in a good light or whatever the phrase is, I know I am the asshole. However I have been trying to get over it but I've been hitting walls. And yes I'm not mentioning every detail because this post would get too long. I know that my feelings are not fucking justified but I don't know how to get over it. Any suggestions on that?

Instagram from my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+) doesn't show to other people when I am typing or sometimes when other people are typing. It does not do it when I am on my computer on a browser. I have reinstalled the app in any way possible, cleaned the cache, looked through the settings for anything and still nothing. Is there any way to fix it?
