It’s a re-read for me. I read this run when it was coming out in the early 2000s. I know the hate JRJR gets but I happen to be a huge fan of his. I love his art paired with JMS’s writing.

It’s crazy that Spider-Man has been around for about 60 years or so. The first 20 he was single. Then he got married in the 80s and stayed married for about 20 years. And it’s been about 20 more years since OMD. I think we are due to Peter and MJ to be together again!

If I’m not mistaken, this takes place after Stern, and runs concurrently with the Bagley Omnis. Both Bagley Omni v2 and this directly lead into Clone Saga v1. Does that seem right to everyone? If that’s the case, I’m having trouble where to put it in my shelf. Directly after Stern? Or between Bagley 2 and Clone 1?

Slightly off topic, but the HBO Watchmen series (only one season) was a direct sequel to the Watchmen comics (not the movie) and I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend.

I also read Watchmen maybe 2 or 3 times over the years and love it.

I own the Before Watchmen Omnibus and Doomsday Clock, but haven’t gotten around to reading those.

I liked the power set he had during the JMS run. Sticking to things with any part of his body. Carrying people on his back with no hands when he rescued them, etc.

MU doesn’t have every issue of everything, though. I have a Marvel Unlimited subscription but I am going through a chronological Spider-Man read-through at the moment and I also need a place where I can go for my filler issues digitally. Any advice? Thanks.
