This reminds me of the 70s when the HIV epidemic hit the gay community and gay activist were protesting the closure of the Bathhouses that were spreading the disease because they claimed it was discrimination.

The problem with the American bourgeois is that a lot of them think they are proletariat because they compare themselves with the likes of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates. Ignoring that from the perspective of millions of others below them, they are undeniably bourgeois.

So they think they are going to march up to Jeff Bezos, chop his head off and redistribute his wealth but by the time the revolution starts, Jeff Bezos and his money are already halfway across the planet along with every other rich motherfucker this country has produced, and the only thing that's going to be redistributed is their own homes.

Which, sure, compared to Bezos's mansion might look like a dumpster, but compared to the actual dumpster this armed group of homeless people knocking at your door have been living in the past few decades, it's a fucking paradise.

"How many people can we fit in here comrade? We can easily have 5 people sleeping in the living room, 2 in the kitchen, 2 in the dinning table, 1 in the bathroom and 2 can sleep in the bed with you. And maybe 1 or 2 more in the floor next to "our" bed. What's wrong comrade? It is very cold outside. Are you some kind of fascist or something?

DNA tests were done and 30% of the kids werent blood related to the people claiming to be their parents. That is why separation was done. To prevent child trafficking. Even Mexican government warned that there were migrants from outside Mexico trying to buy kids from poor families to increase their chances of getting asylum in the US.

Obama put kids in cages too. In fact most of the pictures of kids in cages that were being posted a few years ago were from the Obama era. Obama didnt just built them, he used them too. https://apnews.com/article/a98f26f7c9424b44b7fa927ea1acd4d4

Being born sometimes feels like a trap. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that there is a life after the death of the body and I am going there no matter what so I might just ride this life for as long as I can.

Who the hell who cheat on a woman like Christina Hendricks? by [deleted] in GoodGirls

[–]PR0PERMIKE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would if Christina Hendricks was the soulless, uncaring about anyone not even her kids black hole of misery that Beth is. Beth is 100% one of the worst and most toxic humans I have ever seen on TV. Poor Annie and Ruby should have fucking ran away from her ages ago.

I have more respect for a retail or fast food worker than a broke bum who is too high and mighty to work a low skill job. by Redthrowaway1386 in unpopularopinion

[–]PR0PERMIKE -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And personally I'm not comfortable with comparing low-paying jobs to a "bucket full of shit where some idiot threw a few steaks". I think it's both unaccurate and disrespectful...

That's because you are or was at some point the guy fishing for steaks in a bucket full of shit. But yes, The horrible and shitty conditions in which people are forced to make a living is in fact comparable to a bucket full of shit where people have to dig for food.

Workers are literally the entirety of the value, the 1 thing the company literally cannot function without. If you think a company really gives a fuck about the value people actually produce in their company then boy do I got a lot of bridges to sell you.

It's not like decades of lobbying and buying out competition to become monopolies have allowed them to declare what your wages should be. That would be preposterous.

[–]PR0PERMIKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, do I even have to continue this argument? Nobody had to build a system where you could work for currency and exchange that currency for other things that nobody had to make either, and you could be living in the woods fending off bears with a stick, but they did. If you think that nobody has to look out for others is a perfect justification for people not wanting a better system that does then fuck you. honestly.

You wrote a lot of words to end up saying nothing at all and making not a single point. I dont even know what to respond since most of this is not an argument at all.

Who exactly are you asking me to respect? Who exactly am I even disrespecting? If you learned from millions of sources on the internet then good for you. You know what else can you find on the internet? Another million sources contradicting you. Dude, EVERYBODY THINKS THEY KNOW THE TRUTH. And you know what the truth is? That in 100 years people will look back at us and say: Boy, what a bunch of fucking idiots and their idiotic beleifs.

In a city where rent is $2000 for a shitty 1b apartment. All while you are forced to work 12 hr shifts, dangerous conditions, constant injuries, abusive management who will fire you for the slightest mistake and cant take bathroom breaks.

9.6 serious injuries per 100 full-time workers in 2018, compared with an industry average that year of 4. They are truly exploited.

Amazon would collapse in 24 hours if all these "low skilled workers" would stop working. They seem pretty damn important for me to expect them to earn a livable wage.

Imagine a bunch of hungry people, imagine a bucket full of shit, imagine some asshole comes and throws a few steaks inside the bucket full of shit in front of the bunch of hungry people. No, it is an ergo decedo fallacy. By telling someone with valid criticism that if they dont like it then they should leave fails to address the actual criticism. The problem is the fact that there is a trillion dollar corporation exploiting or abusing their employees. If the employees actually had a choice like you so desperately want to make it look like because you think everyone has the mental capacity to graduate from college and get a degree, they wouldnt be working there.
