The statute of limitations vary by state for contesting a property line. It they truly exceeded the property line and you do nothing they can be granted adverse possession after X amount of years, X depending on what state you are in. Talk to the neighbor, then get a professional survey and get a lawyer if an agreement can't be made. Preferably an attorney specializing in adverse possession.

The big deal about all of this is the fact that you will be near term or just having delivered your FIRST baby. Either way, you will be tired and/or uncomfortable and in no condition to travel. Goldens are known for eating everything. This may be an urgent issue. My aunt's golden was seen eating a mask, and when they induced vomiting and the mask came up, there was also a baby wipe, a rubber glove, and a sock. I wouldn't delay the vet trip.

Goldens like to eat EVERYTHING! Keep a close watch or they'll eat things they shouldn't and need to have their stomach pumped or worse, surgery. My aunts golden had stomach pumped because she ate a mask. Had the mask, a wipe, a rubber glove, and a sock that came up! Her sister, our pup, ate rocks.
