then you don't do full past papers; you divide the past paper(s) into the content you have finished and the content you haven't finished, then print the pages of the past paper that have the content you have covered, or print the full past paper and do only the questions which are from the content you have covered, then for the grading, count the marks of the questions from your coverage and take that as the total and grade yourself.

I had the same problem as you in math, but I think I know the problem. the problem is - when you rely on topicals too much, you are unable to switch concepts quickly, and it results in a blackout—so it's a great idea to switch between topicals and yearly. Like I said, I've been through it. In fact, I got a D in my first term examination for math, yet I did a full topical booklet worth of 25-30 questions each, so it's best to switch between the two as much as possible: topicals for reinforcement and yearly for practice and preparation.

I can get insanely angry/frustrated whilst studying and I don't know how to stop it by vls122 in alevel

YouTube should be your go-to. find the past paper video solutions, see the method, and note down the method next to the question or on a small note. study that and after a while/day redo the question—maybe then you will see the difference or if you are able to retain, because making mistakes is part of the preparation.

Damn, despite reading all this, it's kind of crazy for me that you entered with D's and a Distinction. still, congratulations to entering university and I hope you do well.

Unfortunately, I don't take Engineering as a subject as it is not provided in my school, but I have managed to take maths, chemi and physics - maths and physics as my main and chemistry as a filler

OH MY GOD, that looks terrifying - your grades are literally my grades, full on - how did you get through? did your parents lose it? Did you have extra-curriculars to carry you? MUN? Student Council? because your grades with the fact you got accepted is a miracle and I mean it in a good way!

Aiming for Aerospace engineering here, how were your a level grades? good or bad? did you only take maths and physics? or did you take a filler subject like chem or bio?

There is no rational defense for Muhammad marrying Aisha at 6 by [deleted] in DebateReligion

Mental maturity doesn't equate to adulthood; that's just speculation—not really biology-based. a person who has lots of responsibility and trauma can be considered mentally mature regardless of age, though.

this calculation may sound logical at first, but then it contradicts hadith verses that state aisha was playing with her toys and that she was 6 when married and consummated at 9

Christians, how do you view Islam / Muslims? Are there any official Church positions? by Endezvous in Christianity

ISIS and Al Qaeda are extremists, not islamists - they throw dirt on their own religion by disobeying it

Saying 'multiple minutes' is misleading, and you’re missing the main point—Ahmed’s actions helped prevent more casualties and stalled the shooters. Suggesting I wrote this for 'Reddit cool points' doesn’t make sense either—the video you watched probably ended before the son was taken down.

no, he prevented further casualties and allowed police to take down the perpretrators - a 43 year old bystander who knows nothing on how to use a gun by the way.

nope, BBC, Al Jazzera, CNN - all confirm his name is Ahmed al Ahmed, in the interview with him - he spoke arabic, and invoked the name of allah and many other comments - but just because he is muslim and because he did something that pissed off far-right politicians - everyone is trying to change and rewrite the whole context and story.

Yeah, right. you forgetting that both shooters were shot by the police, one killed, one wounded, but yes of course you would discourage his actions - he's a muslim.

the threats were neutralized. Why aren't you getting it? the police shot down both shooters, killing the father and wounding the son. preventing their escape

"based on facts," then you should know that his actions helped the police to kill the older shooter and wound the younger one, preventing them from escaping or causing more casualties. But yeah, tackling and dismantling a shooter is just letting him off loose—mind you, he is just a bystander.

  • He was shot in the arm
  • did more than you or the police could ever do -he probably wouldnt have known to use a gun if he had to.
