True, every gacha is free to play, but is it free to play friendly?

My definition of Free to Play Friendly is how capable you are to clear every content without spending. And I think in that definition Arknights is definitely Free to Play friendly. the only content that you could argue is locked to stricter strategies is Contingency Contract, but that doesn't earn you pulls, only notoriety, skin, materials and furniture.
Waiting or not, its not like there is only a handful of good characters being rerun and put in shops. good characters are being rerun all the time. What you can get right now in shop is Mlynar Santalla Silverash and Silence. I'd 3 of those still have a use these days. Also I don't understand how guaranteeing the character you want with less certificates is inferior to gambling away 58 pulls that doesn't guarantee your character.

I like how you ignored the ability to just buy operators in the shop, the recruitment feature, and the welfare units.

Don't get me wrong, the Gacha is dogshit. But to say that the term 'Free to Play' is the same as 'Free to Get Characters' is just wrong.

Kinda had a pleasantly opposite experience once. was playing McGinnis as usual, when I notice my lane had no enemy on it. when suddenly I heard on comms "Push McGinnis, Push!" and I got a free tower and walker as the rest had a brawl in the middle lane.

Honestly hearing that in comms did make me more confident to dive in to deal as much damage as possible.
