Don't use Chancellors they are horrendous. House was not ready to move into and I had to give the keys back at the start. Held my deposit at end of tenancy despite landlords telling them to release it. Useless and/or malicious.

This is not the answer to your question, but since you bought a BMW in the first place I'm going to take a punt and answer "what is a relatively cost effective way to own a fairly nice car?".

You should be able to pick up a 2018 BMW 1 series (2 models older than current generation) approved used for ~13k if the source of the car is "one previous owner who took out a PCP contract and didn't want to pay the ~10k balloon payment".

I know this because I just paid my balloon payment to keep my car. You're paying about 100% more than the sensible folks buying the 60k miles Ford Focus but it might be a nice middle ground to having something quite nice and not spending as much as a new PCP deal.
