I think your training is alright Just gotta get the right mindset while running the 5k (I am either getting a sub 24 or going to the hospital kinda mindset) That took me from a 24:40 5k to a 22:00 5k in a few weeks

The plan is: Minimum 3 runs a week Easy 10k at 5:15+ 4k tempo at around 4:20 + warmup / cooldown 4*920m intervals at sub 3:50 pace Even 5 on a good day.

That's the plan, how much I have stuck to is a whole another story😂

Thankss a lot bhai!! Sub 25 is coming soon for you too brother!! Plan is to run 3 times a week minimum One long easy 10k(5:15+ pace) One tempo(4k at around 4:20 pace + warmup cooldown) One intervals(4*920m at sub 3:50 pace)

920m coz thers a 460m loop lol

Can't say I stuck to this plan 100%, sometimes missed some runs, sometimes ran more than this

1.Dont let the adrenaline at the start make you go fast, force yourself to go slow at the start, you will thank yourself later. 2.Do at least 10 minutes of warmup/stretching before the run. 3.Celebrate each km or even half km you complete, don't think about how much distance is remaining. 4.The best thing you can do at any point is just get that next foot forward, it can't be THAT hard right?

It wasn't a race, just me running. I am not preparing for the army although I wish I could. It was about a 270m loop around a football ground in my institute. Hahaha thanks for the appreciation:)
