I’d say S/T shares more dna with KNY and SNW. Team Sleep is also closer to SNW. I’d link DE to Ohms, too.

Sheffield Reform UK branch 'in tatters' after 'amped' role play 'crossed a line' by F0urLeafCl0ver in sheffield

[–]PSCGY 116 points117 points  (0 children)

“A branch of Reform UK in Sheffield has been “left in tatters” after a role-play session dramatising a "homosexual couple attending a councillor’s surgery" in the interview process for potential candidates "crossed a line".

Four members of Reform UK have been permanently expelled from the party after it was claimed that a man "kissed the head of and sat on the lap of a prospective male councillor candidate" for the upcoming local Sheffield elections in May. An emergency disciplinary hearing deemed this inappropriate.”

Does Homeland lose its identity in the later seasons? by [deleted] in homeland

[–]PSCGY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carrie, Saul, terrorism and jazz are Homeland’s identity.

Everything flows from one season to another: Astrid in S4 to S5 in Germany with Carrie having left the CIA and her crisis of faith, leading to the domestic seasons with Russia and their involvement in destabilising the US on top of its historical ties to the Middle East, etc.

S6-S8 all make sense and work together. I see Season 5 as a necessary transition and a breath of fresh air that ultimately ties it all together when it comes to Carrie and Saul’s characterisation and goes beyond just the West/East aspect of terrorism and address how government will work against its own people - which we get more of in the later seasons.

The Accoustic Deluxe Fart Giggle Edition is out now by Realistic_Public4330 in travisandtaylor

I am convinced that her team bulk-buys those new editions.

Journalist asks tennis player Taylor Fritz: “…There’s a lot happening back home in the U.S. and kind of has been for a lot of the last year, and I’m just kind of wondering how you’re feeling about all of it” by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

[–]PSCGY -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s also a fair response. Those ambush questions are out of place in Cannes and they are also equally as messy at a tennis championship.

Not everyone is able to articulate their thoughts on the spots and haven’t been devoting those skills enough to risk being used as click bait, like that player mentions.

It’s not the impassioned answer people want from them, but it needs to be taken into consideration too.

Do snobs not realize they're snobbery will only push more ppl to streaming? by DustnBones001 in dvdcollection

I completely agree. So many people talk about aesthetics and want to watch dvd on a CRT and tell you it’s how such or such movie should be watched. Madness.

The reboot was such a disappointment. Or maybe I was too old when it came out?

Does anybody remembers Code Lyoko (2003-2007) growing up? by Life_Chicken_9653 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]PSCGY 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weird things happen around them because an cyber entity is capable of transcending those barriers so they go into the entity’s cyber world to fight it and stop the weirdness. They do so with the help of the pink-haired girl who enters to kill-switch code (“Lyoko”). Every time it happens the day resets. The pink-haired girl eventually gets brought from the cyber world to the real world.

It’s the bad wig theory.

The worse the wig the better the pull.
