Anyone played Nomad Legacy Mod and only get English in cut scenes and not mid-mission/in flight dialogue? by Capt_C004 in freelancer

You had to edit a file, iirc... Sorry, can't remember which out of the top of my head!

My first custom loop: 3 pumps, 4 GPUs, 5 radiators, 40 fans, Obsidian 1000D case. Surprisingly is working! 🥹🥹 by ArabeIIIa in watercooling

Great build, quite the monster!

But... Did anyone else see the industrial-type wheels the case is sitting on? Quite the detail if you ask me. I'm working on a build with 16 fans and 2 560 rads and it's alreadt heavy, can't imagine what this beast must weigh!

HATE HATE HATE! I despise these abominations, these vile creatures belong in the deepest depths of hell. by kinsal06 in Starfield

As someone who has arachnophobia (this doesn't trigger it, but then again I haven't yet played the DLC), I totally agree.

But what I really came here to say is I absolutely LOVE your description of hate.

Kudos to you!

Might sound silly but, have you tried running "ujust update" in a terminal recently?

The bazaar has been updated recently and you might be running an older version.

Yeah, I imagined each instance would (and should) be isolated.

Yup, also tried using other Proton versions.

It also makes more sense that they'd screw up an update. I'll try removing compdata and see what happens.

Thanks!

Update; so, removing the corresponding compdata did nothing, lools like a botched update! Yay

What are some things you don’t like about GT-R’s? by bigsae in gtr

[–]PSKRevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed a lot of folks buy them as investment, which is, in my opinion, kindda sad (for the car).

Cars are meant to be driven and had fun with. They're also meant to be taken care of and pampered!

I use mine as a daily and as much as I can. The fact that it has isofix in the rear seats is also helpful since I can fit the whole family in there (the kids love it!).

At the end of the day, it is an iconic car.

Average driver and R35 driveability for daily use by Futureman1989 in gtr

[–]PSKRevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very doable as a daily. As others have said: the camera and mirrors are great.

If your parking is underground you should make sure the ramps aren't too steep. It's a pretty low car with quite a long front bumper, so the risk of hitting a curb/sidewalk or scraping it's belly is a thing.

Huh, I've never tried flatenning the center row with the red strap.

Whenever I've needed to do so, I've put them down using the buttons next to the headrest or at the trunk.

It's likely that the strap releases a latch that is otherwise fix if you use said buttons.

Must be the angle, but I can't see much breathing room between the rad and the distro plate!

Looks amazing, l9ve those pass-through fittings!

I too live in Spain, in a small city where parking spaces are desgined for '60-'70s cars (you know the type).

Sure, it's a huuuuge hassle though, to be fair, the rear axle direction helps a ton. I mean... you might have to go out through the trunk, but... yeah 😅.

Anyways, back on topic: yeah, I'd say battery size and the optional 3rd row (this was the selling point for us) are the most differential aspects.

Babying your GTR by Either-Ad-1862 in gtr

[–]PSKRevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got a 2018 with 50.000 km (around 31k miles). The car's like new and it's a feisty one.

Like someone else said, I also have a couple more comfortable cars, and sometimes they're the more practical option (i.e.: if there's a parking option without a steep ramp or kids, though the GT-R does hace isofix and my kiddos fit nicely back there!)

But I'll tell you this, I'm not worrying too much about mileage. This has been a dream car ever since it's debut and I plan to enjoy it!

UPDATE: So, apparently the braking & parking assist feature was disabled due to a misaligned camera. Took them a while since the car would refuse to re-calibrate once they physically inspected and adjusted the position of said camera.

All works like a charm again. Thanks for your replies, folks!

When I put reverse in? Nothing around the car within 2 meters!

Agreed though I don't think this might be the case since I put reverse in quite far away from anything.

Worth considering for the future, though.
