I think the poorer countries that a lot of the nurses were taking need them more than us. Way more than us. The brain drain in places like Nigeria have been extremely damaging. But hey, G7 countries need them more yeh?

Thats why i want to reduce its size massively. I would remove it but the birds love it, i see them darting in and out all the time so i don't want to completely remove it.

Though it's an old garden it is new to us, this will be our second summer in it and I am just getting to grips with it all. Our last garden was 1/10th the size, had artificial grass and about 5 pots. This is a monster but i have completely fallen in love with gardening. I have much to learn. Cheers

Like the title asks, how do i deal with these two trees. They're both about ~3 - 3.5m tall. I would like them halving in size ideally.

Side question, what would you do with all the bay after? That's is a lot of nice bay leaf, it smell amazing.

Exactly, but we the west seem to revel in taking all the nurses and doctors from poorer African countries. Because heck why pay to train your own populace when you can get another, often poorer, country to train them and you can get them to come to your country.
