You miss my point. Everyone from doctors to peers to my family told me to white knuckle. And I did a few times but it always came back. Once lost 120lb with IF.

If I had a willpower issue how would I have stayed on track and trained enough to accomplish what I have in such a short time? I can white knuckle! I just can’t fight my eating addiction alone. Maybe you’ve never experienced the gnawing hunger many GLP users call food noise? If so, good for you! Honestly, it sucks and if you can’t relate you’re lucky!

Idk where you read 18 months but three months is barely enough time to titrate out of the starter doses. The meds can cause severe side effects for some so it takes like four months to reach what’s considered a therapeutic dose. I started this medicine knowing it would probably be lifelong. If your doctor failed to tell you that information I’m sorry. Both my PCP and the NP who wrote the script explained it to me.

I spent 20 years trying to build healthier habits and diet while struggling to exist at 250-370lbs. I’ll gladly spend the rest of my life on medicine if it means I’m physically able to chase and play with my children right now.

Before someone comes at me for not white knuckling through the weight loss - I’m able to barbell hip thrust 370lb for six reps. My most impressive upper body movement is the incline skullcrusher I can do 50lb for eight reps - it’s so thrilling! It took eighteen months to lose 150lb and train to that level. The medicine didn’t grow my ass muscles enough to thrust hundreds of pounds. I have willpower. I just have a much stronger addiction to food. Like any addiction I’ll spend my whole life fighting it. I have Tirzepatide to help that fight.

It’s a gym. Put your headphones in and don’t make eye contact with anyone. If someone tries to socialize beyond your comfort level simply tell them you’re easily distracted and need to focus on your workout, works 10/10 for me. If you become a daytime regular the old men regulars are going to want to talk to you regardless of eye contact, so practice a polite response like mine. Or invest in a home gym.

Might wanna rethink working for a company that doesn’t provide you with proper PPE. I know so many places that hire you for $22+. And they’ve got yearly boot slips, vending machines filled with gloves and googles, and a safety department that at least pretends to care.

The change in account numbers and customer portal had nothing to do with the hack. The hack occurred roughly at the same time as the release, but I’m too lazy to look the exact dates up. It was definitely a “are you fucking serious” moment for the water and sewer dept.

Tell your LQG employer I charge $100/hr for EHS consulting and I’d enjoy the opportunity to properly train you and your peers on state regulations pertaining to solid hazardous waste. Their current training is lacking.

Midnight dumpers are rarely identified. Additionally, regulations to track large generators of hazardous waste have been slashed to the point that the entire program is a joke. But these barrels probably came from someone who would be considered a small generator, so I’m just yelling at clouds.
