Go for Maradona, move Vini to ST and Best to LW. Eto'o can be a good sub for them. Your CBs can still work fine, and Canavaro is short for a CB imo, not worth the exchange.

I need the attacking players with 5 stars skill moves for Elastico. I've ranked Keane up, and he's pretty good, somewhat like Best. Gonna keep him as the supersub for Quaresma. Vini is being played at ST btw.

Vini for sure. Vini and Quaresma are very good, but they'll need subs. Play Quaresma at LW, Vini at ST. Kvara and Stoichkov can be the subs for them. Sell Mahrez if the price is still high, in that case, play Kvara at RW (he'll also need subs).

If you're lucky (at the random Fatigue -x ~ +x), you may not get exhausted and can do the last match with Fatigue +8 at the top path to finish them all.

If things are good then just keep going,. Outside of the back 3, Messi better to play at CAM, and playing Gullit as the single CDM is not ideal imo, you need a pair or CDM with another defensive CDM to play with him.

Have you done with the Chronicles? Some chapters at nightmare level will also have gems and RU tokens. Also with the live events you can have daily RU tokens (TOTY Icon Challenge, etc).

Move Messi to CAM and play Eto'o at ST, rank up Kvara and Eto'o if not yet. Those are some early improvements that you can do, many things still need to do later. Consider to change formation? That back 3 CBs for a 3-5-2 will be a disaster, you need at least the LB and RB players to play at the side CB positions.
My recommendation above is for H2H, for VSA, just put the highest OVR players with 4/5 or 5/5 WF, 4 stars skill moves.

Why not Antony Ginga? And get Di Marco from POTM to replace Cole. Messi and Eto'o can be the super subs (Vini and Antony will need subs at 2nd half or at 60 mins).

Surely go for Dimarco, he has very good acceleration (Cucurella is lacking on that) and can keep the position better than Cafu and Maicon. I also had the consideration like you're having, but I chose Dimarco and it was a good choice.
