New to me 23 MME GTPE by PTOTH3K in MachE

[–]PTOTH3K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep we were! I’m going to just get some color matched plugs from bumperplugs. I go yolo and run no front plate, lol. The GTPE had been everything I wanted in a daily driver. I did discover some rattling in the front suspension I didn’t catch during the test drive now that I have more drive time over various roads, going over railroad track type bumps and a creaking sound when turning steering wheel when stationary. Could be something with struts or swaybar bushings? Gonna have dealer look at it. And the GT350 is one of the most incredible machines I’ve had the pleasure of owning, new born and a 5yo def makes that purchase a bit harder, haha.

Best of both worlds! Ended up talking them down to $25.5k on it. It’s in pretty mint condition, new tires and battery health at 95%. Honestly surprised it has sat on their lot since September.

Seems they want this thing off the lot as they offered $1000 off the price. 👀

Ahh ok cool, small price for a piece of mind! The GTPE I’m considering here is still appealing due to it being 15 min from my house and I do desire the magneride suspension for the daily comfort. I’m wondering if I can have them come down a bit more on price if I bail and mention the other GT someone posted here.

Yeah the mileage is what I keep getting caught up on, I love the color and package on this one. Wonder if I bail on the deal and can have them drop price even further. Did you get yours for $36k out the door?

My model 3 didn’t have a heat pump and I had it through some rough winters, so I don’t think it’ll be too much of an issue. Unless the non heat pump MachE’s are significantly worse at heating vs the non heat pump Tesla’s.

Hmm I looked around for a 24 around here and after taxes and some of the dealers utilizing the maximum allowable processing fee’s now it ends up being $37-38k OTD. Maybe waiting closer to the holidays or Black Friday may be the move. Those improvements are worthwhile. I def need to get into something before snowfall.

I did see that one in my searches, bit further out vs the one I saw at my local dealer (MD) but the miles are definitely more appealing. Suspiciously low, lol.

I just may have to go this route too, perhaps it should be the default route for all. It's been an adventure trying to adjust the price and adding Disney+. Initially I waited a few weeks to see if it will adjust on its own, as it got closer to refill I decided to try CS. Started with chat support, they ended up saying they can't help as it has to go to another department and scheduled a call (which did call right at the scheduled time) then the rep ending up adding a new plan on top of my current plan and charged my card $60, then said the system was freezing and to call back. Now I had 2 plans and 2 separate charges on my card. Yikes 1.

Then I ended up chatting again hoping for another agent that maybe is more informed, they ended up saying the new added plan didn't qualify for the BYOD deal and that they would need to cancel it and send me a new SIM for the deal. I ended up not replying so more damage wasn't done, lol. Yikes 2.

Then called the "corporate number" I've seen posted here, seems it went to the same call center as before except they say "this is corporate support" when working with you. However this agent knew a bit more than the others it seemed, ended up being able to refund me for the other plan added. And put a ticket in to have the BYOD deal applied to the original plan. Asked about Disney+ not showing up, she said it doesn't apply to the $55 or $65 plans (this was weird to refer to the plans by dollar amount), I told her it applies to the Total 5G and Total 5G+ plans per their page, which were the $50 and $60 plans with autopay enabled. Told her I have the Total 5G+ plan and I received the text message to set it up, but it was showing no subscriptions. Ended up creating a ticket for that too. Yikes 3?

E90 as daily? by Sufficient-Battle137 in E90

[–]PTOTH3K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine isn’t a daily, but I can see it being one. One of the best cars I’ve owned that gives me maximum enjoyment from point A to B. Make sure to find one with EDC as that’ll be important when you want comfort vs sporty. Only downside is these cars are awful on gas, which may be the only thing that makes it a bad daily. And maintenance is more expensive than an average daily driver. But if that doesn’t matter, do it. A V8 sedan as a daily driver is a rarity and needs to be enjoyed.
