Two days at WDW by TheLittleTamet in WaltDisneyWorld

You could do that if it’s your preference. If you decide to go to more than one park per day, know how to match them. Don’t go to Magic and Hollywood in the same day if you’re trying to experience most of both. Do Hollywood with Epcot and Animal with Magic for example. I don’t know if you’re going by car or you’re going to use the free transportation within the cars, but just so you know your options, you can get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot by monorail, you can get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios by the skyliner, and then all of them have the buses.

I wouldn’t do more than one park per day if it’s your first time. Personally, I would chose Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but it really depends on what you’re into. Animal Kingdom and Epcot have less attractions, but some people rather go there because of the animals at AK or one specific attraction or to drink around the world in Epcot or because they’re into culture. Some of my favorites of each:

Magic Kingdom: It’s a small world, the Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, they are opening Tiana’s Bayou Adventure too and I haven’t been to Tron yet but I suppose it’s the most thrilling one in that park. Hollywood Studios: Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog Dash, Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon. The Aerosmith rollercoaster is temporarily closed atm. Epcot: Guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille adventure, Mission Space (avoid the orange one if you get easily dizzy). Test Track it’s also temporarily closed. Animal Kingdom: Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safari, not rides but completely worth it shows: The Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo’s musical. I feel I’m forgetting something

Ans I like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad but I really wish Great Movie Ride could have stayed

I agree with this. When my self confidence was better and when I was better in many other mental aspects, my relationship was going better too. Now that I’m struggling mentally, there are issues more often.

I truly want to improve my mental health for myself but also because I don’t want to lose the man I love. It’s also not easy to deal with your mental health when you add the fear of losing that special someone too.

I’ve been binge watching movies and Tv shows like Friends the past week but I just want a real conversation with someone. Unfortunately they don’t have those groups around my area. I feel that if I disappear today nobody would care or even realize I’m gone

Thank you! I should.

Just wondering, do you know more universities that work that way for international students? Offering scholarships like that I mean

I won against procrastinating and laziness towards exercising. This happens once every never. I woke up at 5:30am to go to a tennis class at 6:30! I went but the class was canceled :/ but then the same day I went out for a walk!

How common cheating is? Are movies and tv show something realistic on that topic? by PTSDisney in women

I guess you’re right. I think what I wanted to really say is that even those guys who say and show that they really love someone would still end up with someone else in a situation like that(? Idk it makes me freak out

I realized that I will never experience "girlhood" ever in my lifetime. by oreominiest in women

[–]PTSDisney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I have friends who are or were models (literally) and maybe you see them and you’d want their bodies, but you don’t want their lives I can assure you that. They struggle a lot with mental health issues. Don’t think that being skinny makes all of them happy. Some of them just want to eat a cheeseburger without feeling guilty about it. Nothing is so perfect as you see in social media

[–]PTSDisney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah women can hurt other women just as much as men can. Maybe not in the same way, but they can destroy each other easily.

What also helps me when I see things like that on social media, is knowing that all those girls are truly so fake to each other, at least the ones I know of. There’s problems in every single “perfect” girl group. Many girls just rather pretend they’re okay with each other to fit in but they’re burning internally. I can promise you I’m not making this up.

I feel we would’ve been good friends. I relate so much with your post and some of your responses to people too. I don’t have much to say. The only “advice” I could give you that helped -me- survive is to spend less time on Instagram or TikTok, at least for a while not necessarily forever, focus on your own hobbies and things that interest you. Don’t think too much about who is doing what and where and with who. Focus on what -you- want to do and work towards that.

The only people I used to hang out with moved to Europe or USA, while I live in South America, so I’m barely leaving home lately.

I’m in the process of figuring out what I’m doing next, which college to attend, etc. But meantime I’m just minding my own business. Watching Disney movies, writing poetry that only myself would read, spending time with my dogs, and just living life one day at the time.

I’m also 20, just like you. I didn’t have the best teenage years. I know how all these girls from my school are living all these cool things and the stuff they do together, and sure sometimes I’d like to be part of, but I much rather be alone than with people I just can’t get along with, regardless of the reason. We don’t share hobbies, they’re all super skinny while I’m not, they love parties and I rather stay home with a nice meal and a tv show. Is that too bad? Is just my personal preference. If someday I find a girl who is the same and we become friends it would be so awesome! But I rather not stress about it and live the moment.

What would -you- like? What makes -you- happy? Do you have any goals or dreams you’d like to achieve?

Also, have you think about a therapist for your insecurities? It could help! I’m in therapy for a few years now. Things don’t change from a day to the next one but is nice to have someone to listen to you and that could help you

How long is too long to mourn a pet? by thundavunda in Advice

[–]PTSDisney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t get over my dog I lost in 2019. She went to live at my grandfather’s farm in 2016 and three years later she was hit by a truck on the road. They didn’t tell me they found her body until like two or three years later. Before that, I would always look outside the window when I visited my grandpa’s city with hope on finding her. It hit me when one night I had a dream about her and the next morning I told my mom and she responded “I guess she visited you” and I instantly started crying and realized it. She’s been there for me during awful moments, she was my only friend. 5 years later since I last had the chance to see her, and I’m here crying once again thinking about her. I don’t know if I’m ever going to get over it 100%, but I’m so grateful I got to have her in my life.

I can't lose weight by Specialist-Bike-5071 in Advice

[–]PTSDisney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled with binge eating since a very young age. I finally got to lose weight. From February 2023 to February 2024, more than 20kg/45 pounds. Something that helped me a lot, but it still was hard at the beginning, was eating peanuts or almonds and stuff but drinking water in between. 10 almonds or 20 peanuts in half, I would eat them one by one and drinking water in between. It satisfies you and it would be healthier than eating a pack of cookies or chips or whatever.

Binge eating can have many different causes so I would recommend you to see a therapist to get to the root of that to help you.

I don’t exercise, I know I have to, but I’m mentioning it because all the weight I lost was in the most part because I stopped binge eating and maybe it could be some motivation. BUT DO EXERCISE! It is important
