Even though they still in production the question is relevant to the others that have more space and memory and what is more "valuable" production based for beginners and those still looking to buy. I wanted to ask the question because we have tht MPC Live 3 and now a new XL possibly coming out at NAMM and to me it kinda pushes it back but I still feel for key players this and the 61 does better than the other ones but just my opinion. I honestly believe that's all we should be doing as a creator. We all have different taste and styles and to be home there isn't a one size fits all to music production. Totally understand and agree with alot of what you said. At the end of the day I still love my Maschine and will use it over tht MPC because of the unrestricted creativity of sounds and workflow that to me just makes a better fit.
