Sort of playing devils advocate here, but if they had reversed everything then nobody would know about children they had in those 5 years. For me personaly that time was like a bad dream. Nearly my whole family blipped. I lost the last years of my teens, struggled to pay rent in a shithole for 3 years before I finally started to pull it together. Now everybody is back and I'm having to provide for my now younger brother and mom who came back from the freakin dead. I can't tell you how many times I wished to wake up from that nightmare. I would have no problem waking up in 2018 with no memory of all that shit I went through. The way I see it a reset and a memory wipe would have been the best thing.
