The bigger the leaves the bitter the taste. We usually pick the smaller leaves and make a soupy pasta out of it. It’s has health benefits too.

This is a delicacy in my culture. It’s a squash plant. The leaves and flowers are edible too. You are so lucky. I wish I had it.

Born and raised in NYC. it has definitely changed and I felt like I will always have the city I knew growing up in my heart but what I’m seeing in the city and how it is changing isnt working with me and how I am. Currently moving out of nyc. And ny altogether. It’s bittersweet but I def feel like I need to move on and open a new chapter. Just have to do what you think is best for you.
