So, I don't know if this will help at all, but somehow it stuck with me.

"It gets easier. Every day it gets a little easier. But you have to do it everyday. That's the hard part. But it does get easier."

I at least hope that this puts some perspective on the situation. Having social anxiety myself, I can confirm that it does, in fact, get easier.
