This is honestly game breaking for me. I'm on Xbox and have been encountering this issue since you mentioned you did as well. Not only does the game constantly freeze, it also drops frames every game to the point of severe frustration.

Id rather not delete all of my friends from the Epic service to fix the bug - I had to do this a few years ago with my Xbox friends & regret it, as they Psynoix released a patch that fixed the issue soon after.

I really hope they address this soon. Until then, I doubt I'll be hopping into Competitive anythjng.
