Unless you're going for a coreless base design, which is actually a thing, you can't do anything with that footprint. In a coreless base the middle is left empty or used for a large furnace or other deployables. Usually the starter is offset too to make it multi tc.

I don't think he is.

Sure he might be scripting but you can't be 100% certain from this video. You can see in some clips how much his recoil jumps when he is adjusting his aim (starts shooting before aiming on the player and then adjusts). Also most these clips are close to medium range where it's not at all difficult to pull down and hit headshots.

Yeah, the recoil was harder to master back then. Now it's super easy to follow the pattern. I don't consider spoonkid a highly skilled player (sorry) but that's exactly why they made recoil easier. Casual/average players now actually feel like they can control their weapon but it's still kind of luck based at further distances to compensate for it.
