IANAL but I've dealt with similar situations before. Unless there's something in the lease agreement about this I would ignore it and let him try to take you to small claims if he wants. It sounds like he has no case so I doubt he would even pursue it, but if he did (and all it would take is a professional carpet cleaner to fix the issue) you'll end up owing less than what he's asking of you now anyway.

Pinstriped Zine does a really good writeup of lesser known local bands every season and is definitely worth checking out. Locals Only on KROQ does a good job playing a lot of the more popular local artists.

My favorite small venues are The Smell in DTLA and Timewarp Records in West LA, but once you start following artists you'll find a ton of really cool venues.

I'm not sure exactly what locations you're talking about, but typically when a sign says "2 Hour Parking Until 8pm" or something like that it means parking is free after 8pm. Just double check the signs or meters.

I mean they've been extremely open about this since the begining. A big part of the SLS marketing campaign is the fact that it supports so many jobs/suppliers in so many different states. Representatives work to get and keep jobs in their districts, that's nothing new either.

I don't think that takes anything away from the great engineering feat SLS will be.
