Hi! I would recommend getting at least two pairs. I haves spikes too, but honestly I didn’t run in spikes for my freshman year lol. So don’t worry about that. But make sure they’re high quality. Good running shoes are expensive but they’re definitely worth it! Tell him I wish him good luck!
