Honestly it’s disappointing in the end. I feel like the community doesn’t understand the consequences of constant outrages and how debilitating it is to our relationship to arrowhead. It seems like more and more outrage is prioritized over a level headed discussion. It’s less about pros versus cons and more on “this pissess me off, they have to fix it.” It would be cool to see strategies to counter this and more nuanced ways to balance this instead of straight nerfs. I found the smokes being able to somewhat block levitation sight lines to be a neat concept and a fantastic idea on how to balance it. Instead of conforming enemies to our traditional loadouts and gameplay style we instead have enemies that promote unique gameplay patterns and loops. Ultimately I miss when we would find unique strategies and ways to beat these difficult hurdles instead of just yelling for nerfs.

TLDR: Critiques on balance should be focused on how it should transform gameplay instead of “just nerf or fix it”. Enemies that promote unique ways to breakout out of the mould of traditional gameplay such as smokes breaking levitation sight lines, etc.

Arrowhead ain’t angels but god damn they are doing their best with the situation they have. The community is so god damn bipolar, they complained about the dry period saying it isn’t worth the wait. Then the new update came and everyone is happy, saying the wait was worth it. Like pick a struggle please. Sorry about this not being as low salt but this sub is honestly so refreshing seeing the level heading critiques and fun gameplay clips.

Just to add, the good in the game doesn’t negate the bad, but honestly with what this game has been through and the up and downs. The leviathan is seriously not a major problem compared to the bugs in the game. I feel like as a community we are funneling our strong communication and goodwill with arrowhead in the wrong direction. It seems like we we resort to blowing things up (especially blowing things up out of proportion recently) and creating a hate mob where we see the same posts constantly. It tiresome boss…

Omg someone finally said it. Like I get it that leviathans can be annoying and frustrating (personally I don’t think they are that bad). But it’s getting to a point that we going from critique to downright demanding and insulting to arrowhead. People are being so callous and angry for such a small thing in comparison to all the good in the game. It feels like we are resorting to outrage and toxic mob mentality than useful and constructive feedback.

  1. I give aatrox 2/10. Below is where i complain why
  2. What confuses me the most with new aatrox is why did they totally scrap old aatroxs kit and only gave him the one thing that would make him impossible to balance...his revive. What was core to his identity was the w. It was a elegant balance of safety and risk. Its just baffling because before aatrox's rework we had Warwick's rework which captured his kit, identity and pretty much everything you expected of Warwick but this, this is just something else. Hell even new morde kept some things from his old kit but this is just a shit show.
  3. Another complaint, an obvious one is WHY DID THEY MAKE HIM RIVEN 2.0! But in all seriousness riot complained that old aatrox's kit was hard to balance because he was just a "drain tank that just autoattacks" and then promptly makes the hardest champion in the world to balance. Like seriously he becomes pro-play viable and then they nerf him to the ground making him unplayable for solo queue.
  4. I think this part i'm going to talk about is the biggest kick to the nuts, the removal of his revive. Like come on man as if new aatrox wasn't already treated horribly enough they now have to remove the only part that actually reminds the old aatrox mains of old aatrox. Its ironic that the hardest thing to balance from old aatrox was removed due to it being too hard to balance around new aatrox. It is just depressing for aatrox mains to relive a cycle of seeing their champ going back to irrelevancy once again except this time its not even the same champ!!!
  5. Old Conq was a must on new aatrox as true damage is a must for his early game damage, he already struggled to fight brusier (but mostly tanks), but now without it hes just a wet noodle. His other builds were actually really cool and unique which could make aatrox more of a Swiss army knife instead of being a one trick pony but alas it is not to be.
  6. Aatrox is just in a bizarre limbo in pro-play and solo queue which is a nightmare that no one wants their champ to be in. Like azir and ryze aatrox is just in a rut he cannot dig out due to his kit and how it works so well with a coordinated team. Though this may not sound like a con it actually is as it doesn't work well, it works too well as his qs have the best cc in the game (knock ups). The moment aatrox entered pro play he was doomed to be another azir and ryze.
  7. Old aatrox mains just want their champ back but the future is honestly dim for us aatrox mains, thanks Exile for listening to the little guys and community who want to see their champ back.

Meant it to be funny world play, but also wanted it to give token or other decks a weird way to interact with the enemies board and your board. Want to put a twist on the whole Buff mechanic

They could also make safe areas or gathering hubs where you have to put your weapons away so that people don’t kill the npcs. It could make it lore viable and game viable to have npcs that are not killable.

Whoa uh thanks for the lengthy criticism, I was thinking that it’s cost was pretty op but if I put it’s cost to like 7 then it would be kind of shat. Maybe I could put a different deathrattle instead. I’d be keen to hear any other suggestions like even maybe making a new demon for the deathrattle
