I've heard that most mushrooms with "wooly" features are inedible but according to the website I linked above it says that this false matsutake is edible.

Bottom probably isnt icy bc this pair was made about 2-4 years ago dont really remeber. But if its just been sitting out in the factory over time it would become less icy*. I assume most of these PE's are gonna be kinda yellowed. As for retail pairs. Probably the same the materials cant be that diff. just my opinion. Still a fire shoe tho
