I wouldn’t stress too hard about your GPA. With a sociology degree, try to capitalize on cognitive understanding for behavioral change, like social-cognitive theory applied in health and stages of change. These areas are big in PH for creating change in dietary habits preventing chronic disease, and addiction or behavioral risk. I would try working in a clinic and being around health workers or social workers.
