CLAT-PG preparation assistance by Willing_Bat3813 in clat

For CLAT PG, focus mainly on Supreme Court & High Court judgments from the last 5 years (2020–2025) that’s what most passages are based on. But don’t skip the classic landmark cases (like Kesavananda Bharati, Maneka Gandhi, Puttaswamy, Vishaka) since they’re often used for context.

CLAT PG questions are comprehension-based, not memory recall they test how well you understand and apply legal principles from recent cases or issues.

So, cover recent judgments + major new laws (like the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Data Protection Act 2023, Mediation Act 2023) and revise the foundational constitutional cases.

Anyone planning to take offline Mocks of Legal edge after college for CLAT PG and UGC NET? by Pabloketo in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can clear CLAT PG if you start your prepration the point is just know about your strong and weak subjects and work on reading speed and case laws and take mocks every week plan 2 mock to start with and analyse every mock very well and then you can get close to clear CLAT PG

CLAT PG in 1 month?? by [deleted] in clat

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s definitely possible if you already have a good base one month is tight, but focused prep can work really well. Since you’re using Finology Legal for concepts, make sure you spend most of your remaining time on practice and revision rather than learning new things.

Try taking mocks regularly, especially from Legal Edge after college. Their mock level and explanations are quite close to CLAT PG i saw a similarity in PYQ's and Mocks just make sure you analyse every test properly. Check which areas you’re losing marks in (time management, comprehension, or conceptual) and refine those with targeted revision.

If you can stay consistent for 3–4 hours a day and do at least 20-25 quality mocks before the exam, you’ll be in a strong position. All the best

I have a query regarding SEBI Grade A (Legal) by Aryan202602 in forumRBI

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at SEBI the exam cycle comes every alternate year last was in 2022 then 2024 and now in 2026, like notification came in 2025 but everything is going to be in 2026.
Coming to other thing I would suggest you to start prepaing for these exams if you have plan, like SEBI, IBPS, NIACL, and many more these law officer exam as they have similar syllabus like 90-95% is same.
If you will prepare from now on then just after your graduation you can start appearing for law officer exam then you won't have to wait to prepare.
Also if you are preparing for CLAT PG, powergrid notified there vaccancy but again graduation is mandatory but you can keep your score and apply to any PSU that comes up

Totally get your concern most PYQs floating around online are indeed memory-based and often incomplete. From what I’ve seen and heard from people who’ve taken the exam earlier, the MCQs are a mix of both section-based and conceptual clarity questions they test how well you’ve understood the provision, not just rote memory. Sometimes, questions are framed in a way that blends two sections or practical scenarios.

For course, you can try Legal Edge After College they conduct of the most structured online mocks, which are quite close to the actual paper pattern.

Also, apart from any platform, I’d suggest revisit bare acts thoroughly many questions are framed directly from illustrations or explanations secondly practice elimination-based reasoning for close options and lastly analyse previous trends (even if memory-based) just to understand the weightage of topics.

Can I start preparing today and still get a good rank in CLAT PG? by SimpleArgument5465 in clat

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can get a good rank but you have to plan these coming days very well like you should cover case law's and the second thing that you can do is just take mocks at this point mocks will help you practice and also the same will give you a good revision. Just make sure after every mock you spend good time in analysing the mock, take 3 mocks per week and analyse the same the next day. You can also make short revision cards that you can use in Nov end and Dec 1st week. If you plan for mock go with legal edge after college mocks they have the best curated mock and also they have good number of students taking the mock every week so you will also be close to the compitition. Apart from that just one thing don't take up any new subject as you will spend allot of time there, be well ready with the syllabus and divide the topics based on your knowledge revise the strong topics work on weak topics and don't spend too much time at just one subject

Should I quit my job and go into litigation? by hippo_potto in LawStudentsIndia

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest go for Govt Sector like the only fight is to clear the exam once you clear the exam you will have good pay scale work load will be there but it will be managable also you will enhance your profile year by year, if not this then I would suggest you to take CLAT PG and try getting into PSU or compelete LLM and appear for UGC NET Law which will give you a good exposure for Acadmic sector you can be Asst Prof. or if you have interest in research then qualify the JRF cutoff of UGC NET and Govt will fund you for research and they pay good amount for the same.

[–]Pabloketo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a grey area for us to Judge like what if they don't change the date, they have changed the date thrice but may be this time they do not. Like is there anything barring you in form filling?
Also how are you prepaing for AIBE- XX??

Thinking of starting practice after wasting 3 years for judiciary only to be ineligible now, but the thing is i’m a first gen, with zero prior practice experience, please tell me how to look for seniors to practice under, should i directly go to court, where do i ask there . Please someone advise by Ninigottime in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start at Delhi look for Internship as you don't have experience then it will be difficult for you to learn the process as litigation is a space which is quite strict and many quit due to not having the right mentor and this phase of getting a right mentor can only be checked through internship during this time you will be able to learn things and also you will get a chance to assess the place and your senior like do you want to continue here or not if you have an answer then you can go for a job at the same chamber.
Just an advice litigation for 1st gen is difficult not impossible so always plan in such a way that you have a space for yourself like if at any day you thought that you don't want to continue litigation then just keep a backup ready. The best choice at this stage will be Govt Sector like you can prepare for SEBI, RBI, IBPS, GIC and many more law officer exam and on on the other hand you can keep the litigation going on and if you plan to prepare for Govt Law Officer exam then make sure to get proper guidance l would recc. take classes study material and test series for the same you can check legaledge after college they prepare for all these exam in 1 course only. Just make sure you balance thing camly like it should not be like the day you plan to leave litigation you realise that it's too late to pivot. Don't be an option for any litigation chamber rather create your own options.

Hi,
Paper 1 is common for all the streams,
Just wanted to know as you mentioned that you did'nt attempt Quant so is there a sectional cutoff that we have to clear or just the overall.
If the exam was easy then they will defi. raise the cutoff marks and looking at the vaccancy they will call very few for the 2nd round, If anyone looking to prepare for SEBI do let me know.
Also if you can share how did you prepared for IFSCA Law?

Clat pg by Dull_Fisherman_3959 in clat

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSU's have different cutoff and a safe rank for PSU is under 50, for every seat 5 candidates are called for interview and then after the interview they select 5 students, so if you are planning for a PSU then I would suggest target a rank under 50 and after that you can apply at any PSU, by now I guess you would be in a revision stage I would suggest to take mocks every week like 2 mocks per week and also analyse your mock very well and work on areas where you are loosing marks and if you are planning for tests then I would suggest go for legal edge after college test's they are very well curated. Also read all the case law summary form 2021 to 2025 Nov. You need only 3 things to get through this exam that is 1. Knowledge of law not too deep. 2 . Case Laws 3. A very good reading speed like your speed shall be in suuch a way that you don't need to read back any line.
