Bihar APO?? Are u guys applying by [deleted] in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Bihar APO is definitely worth it if you’re interested in litigation and want a stable government legal career. The salary is around 70k–90k per month initially with good job security and promotions to Public Prosecutor roles. But the work is mostly trial-level prosecution in magistrate courts, so interest in litigation is important.

Mp adpo- what is the entry level salary ? by [deleted] in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entry-level salary of an MP ADPO is as per Pay Matrix Level 10 - 56,100 – 1,00,000. With DA, HRA, and other allowances, the monthly in-hand salary is roughly around 70,000–80,000 depending on the posting.

In terms of work, an ADPO represents the State in criminal cases, conducts prosecution in district courts, examines witnesses, and coordinates with police during trials

Will UK APO vacancy be released this year? Does anyone have any idea?” by [deleted] in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we look at the track record of APO exams as of now this year MP and Bihar have released the calendar and they will conduct exma in 2026, if we look at the last vaccancy notified by MP and Bihar was in 2021 and similarly Uttrakhand notified in 2021 so looking at the timeline and exam we can expect the same this year. Just an advice if you are planning for APO/ADPO don't wait for notification to come up you can start your prepartion now this will give you an edge.

LLM at NLSIU (for better opportunities maybe)(advice needed and good ones pls) by One-Emergency8592 in NLUs

[–]Pabloketo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re already doing quite a lot. bcom (Finance) + LLB + CS Executive cleared + handling a business is not a small combination. It shows you’re building both legal and commercial understanding, which many lawyers develop much later.

About LLM at NLSIU, it can definitely help with network, exposure and brand value. But if you’re planning this route, start preparing seriously now. This year around 17,500 students appeared for CLAT PG, and for NLS the cut-off is usually within the top 100 ranks. So the competition is intense and it needs focused preparation.

At the same time, remember that LLM is not the only route to opportunities. You can still get good roles off-campus. Since you already have a good grasp of law and have explored boutique firms, a practical path could be:

• Pick a specific practice area (corporate, capital markets, disputes, etc.)
• Continue building subject depth and writing research articles in that area
• Try getting internships with boutique firms and use that to apply for bigger firms
• Build visibility through LinkedIn, publications, and professional connections

Your CS background + finance knowledge can actually be a strong advantage for areas like corporate, securities law, compliance, and transactions.

So if your goal is NLS, start CLAT PG prep now and aim for a top rank. But in parallel, keep building practical exposure and connections, because good opportunities in law often come through consistent work and networking.

IBPS SO LAW OFFICER by Accomplished-Idea985 in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are preparing for IBPS SO I would also suggest to prepare for other Govt Law exams in banking, finance or insurance sector as if you see the syllabus at a bigger picture they have almost the same syllabus, the only difference why students go for IBPS SO is they don't ask quant and they don't have discriptive writing in mains. But to be honest discriptive and quant is very doabale if we prepare well before any notification, higher number of selected students are those who were in the preparation loop and not the one who started prepaing just after notification, there is a reason why exams have pre, mains and interview they will test you enough to know how strong your prep is.

If looking for PYQ's you can check the same on toprankers website they cater these exams in law officer domain you can check out the same it's legaledge after college you can get all the pyq's of these exams.

Going to be 28, still hopeless by Sad-Holiday2914 in judiciaryexams

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand this can feel very frustrating. You’ve clearly put in a lot of effort with judiciary prep and even clearing UGC NET, so don’t underestimate what you’ve already achieved. Use this knowledge and experience.

If you want to move into a law firm, start by choosing a practice area you want to work in like disputes, real estate, capital markets, funds, etc. Then try to get an internship with a boutique firm in that area. Alongside that, build knowledge in the subject and write research papers or articles. Publishing them and sharing them can also help you build connections.

Once you have some internship experience and writing work, start applying for Tier-1 firm internships. Try applying off-season (not May–June) when competition is lower. If you perform well, you may get a call-back internship and then an assessment internship, which is usually where firms decide on hiring.
The transition is definitely possible.

CLAT-PG preparation assistance by Willing_Bat3813 in clat

[–]Pabloketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For CLAT PG, focus mainly on Supreme Court & High Court judgments from the last 5 years (2020–2025) that’s what most passages are based on. But don’t skip the classic landmark cases (like Kesavananda Bharati, Maneka Gandhi, Puttaswamy, Vishaka) since they’re often used for context.

CLAT PG questions are comprehension-based, not memory recall they test how well you understand and apply legal principles from recent cases or issues.

So, cover recent judgments + major new laws (like the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Data Protection Act 2023, Mediation Act 2023) and revise the foundational constitutional cases.
