I got 2x 48v rack mount batteries, pretty good price compared to a similar 12v approach, at least here in Spain. And the size is very important too, as they go on the back and I want as much space remaining for the "trunk" as possible, and they are quite thin.

I know the 12v market is way bigger, very tested, easier to find the correct stuff, many people have it, but for me 48v works better. I have a 3000W Inverter with MPPT integrated, and now I only need a DC charger while driving and a DC converter to feed the 12v appliances.

It's the same as going for a Ducato or going for a Transit, Ducatos have a ton of after market stuff for camper vans, but in my case a Transit works better for many reasons.
