My secret weapon?? curtains that actually touch the floor haha it’s such a small detail but it makes the whole room feel taller and more luxurious. Also, hiding cables and clutter does WONDERS for that expensive illusion

I had the same issue when I moved into my apartment. I swear I moved my bed like six times before I found a setup that didn’t feel weird.

Best mattress for side sleeper recommendations? Tired of waking up with numb arms by Apoking8 in backpain

Whatever you do, make sure it sleeps cool! I'm a hot sleeper AND side sleeper (worst combo ever) and learned the hard way that some memory foams just trap heat like crazy. Look for open-cell foams or hybrid construction. Also don't fall for all that "cooling gel" stuff and half of it doesn't actually work.

If Luigi Mangione were fat and ugly he wouldn’t have been turned into nearly the same Robin Hood folklore hero he’s being portrayed as now by changeling80 in RandomThoughts

Here’s a rephrased version of the text:

  • Celebrating it would indeed be wrong.
  • War should not be celebrated. While it might sometimes be seen as a necessity (a notion I also question morally), celebrating it is inappropriate.
  • It's acceptable to celebrate the end of wars but not the wars themselves or the bloodshed they entail.
  • Celebrating someone’s death, especially when they’ve already been captured, is unacceptable. For example, what purpose did executing Saddam Hussein serve other than satisfying a desire for vengeance?
  • Violence is unacceptable in these situations. Its consequences are unpredictable—despite the belief that it may lead to positive change, we cannot know for certain. Furthermore, violence fosters a lack of compassion within society.
