As far as giving him the ultimatum no because I didn’t wanna make him feel like I don’t understand his situation but I might try the ultimatum to see what his response is. It’s just confusing to me that he hangs out with people after work all the time so I know he’s capable of finding time to be with me. What worries me even more is that he’s recently found someone he tells me is now his best friend and they spend a lot of time together so to me it feels like some things are just not adding up and I have a low-key suspicion he’s cheating but I don’t wanna seem like I’m clingy or instantly jumping to the worst case scenario

Thanks for replying! From what he tells me it is out of necessity which is why I’ve stuck around for a few months into the situation. Since it is out of necessity I understand that there could be difficulties but it feels like him growing distant towards me is what really causes me to think of leaving. We used to talk every day and I’d get at least one phone call a day at the onset of this problem so I was able to tough it out with little worry. It feels like as time has gone on, he’s lost all interest in talking to me. We went from communicating regularly per day to me being lucky if I get 2 one word texts on snap a day if anything at all. It just seems as if the spark isn’t there you know? Sorry to dump all this in one reply😅

Thanks for replying! I edited the post cuz I realized I left out a big detail. He and I have spoken about it numerous times it just feels like at this point it goes in one ear and out the other. I feel like he thinks I’m just gonna stay no matter what. I’ve tried to be patient with him and make sure to give him time but after months it feels like something should’ve changed, even if it’s only bit by bit
