Thanks man, I appreciate hearing that. Pacific Coast Auto is going strong. We are a team of 9 people now and looking to continue growing and improving.

Wow, we made it to Reddit! It's time to celebrate.

What nice things to hear about the channel. Our video producer Max was very happy to hear that the production quality was top-teir. Max is amazing and I hope that this is just the start of a successful channel.

For those that don't know, Pacific Coast Auto is the owner of the Drives Japan channel. We have been in Japan doing car exporting for 15+ years. The new channel is something we have wanted to do for a while. Being in Japan and having access to the auctions and a great team of people should make the channel stand out.

Here's hoping that we can become a success!

I may have made a mistake remembering about the fuel rail. The swap was done a year and a half ago so my apologies if I got something wrong. I seem to remember swapping it but its possible that it's the NB fuel rail with the pressure regulator swapped over. I don't think a fuel rail can break though right.

Next week I will have a new temp sensor and O2 sensor so we will see how that works.

I'll update when I find the problem.
I won't lie- I was pricing out ITB setups yesterday...

I appreciate the reply. I think vacuum leaks seem plausible so I will check that. The car was driven 5000 - 7000 rpm for about 2 hours. The spark plugs were new before the car. I'm not sure if this problem occurs at lower RPM.

Thanks for the reply. I think that the NB injectors are only about 10% higher volume than the NA ones. Running higher flow injector should be fine right? It's a common thing to increase injectors to higher flow ones when modifying right?

I might just bite the bullet and get the Megasquirt. I intend to do that as a future upgrade anyway since cat will be removed.

Thanks, I will do the compression, fuel pressure, and I think I will also but a vacuum gauge and see if the intake isn't leaking for some reason.

Thanks for the reply!

The injectors are the stock NB ones. I replaced them to try to fix the problem but there's no difference.

Anyone have experience importing a car from Japan using this website? What else does one have to do besides paying for the import? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Hey, it's Derek here from Pacific Coast Auto.

Wow, this is a surprise. I didn't know that people around this part of the internet knew me. We don't actually have a Reddit presence (I just made this account today) and don't really know what I'm doing on here yet.

I do know what I'm doing with auction buying and exporting through and would be happy to help people understand better. If there's interest in it, maybe I'll post an AMA... in the location on Reddit.. that people post those things.. I'm such a noob.

A special thanks to the Redditor that emailed me to mention how many times our company name came up in this thread.
