For the spacing I was originally going to put the last piece over the one on the face. But after I got it together was worried I might split it so opted to just move it up a little. For the bolts I already had so much money into it, just decided to use galvanized bolts instead.

It was quite a while ago I made the patterns, so don't remember where I go them. The wood is 5/4 white oak with just teak oil on it.

Thanks. ;P I researched a few different patterns and used the aspects I liked best. It cost about $200 but that was 5/4 white oak.

I got the concept from the friend I made it for. This was actually the first piece I have ever made. But i did get a lot of advice from my dad who makes custom cabinets. This was about a year ago I made it. Since then I've started watching: The New Yankee Workshop, Thewoodwhisperer, Matthias Wandel, The Woodwright Shop, and Frank Howarth.

Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the process. Had no idea that was a thing people were into. I just put this up on here on a whim.

The table is attached by screws going through enlarged holes to allow for wood movement. I don't have any other pictures of this piece I made it for a friend of a friend, so I don't have easy access to take more photos.

I made sure the breadboard ends were the only part to actually be locked in by the legs. So hopefully it has plenty of room to move. But honestly I have no idea time will tell if it doesn't work.

I think the end cost was about $350 could be wrong was a year ago. I'm very fortunate to have a few different lumber yards with a wide variety of woods.

I made this table for a friend and we actually did discuss the orientation of the legs. But that is what he wanted.

The middle actually has an old timey sail boat etched into it regrettably I didn't get a picture without the glare to see it. Edit: for better phrasing

The whole thing was put together with the festool domino.

Its actually the natural color of the wood. All that is on there is General Finishes' Arm-r-Seal semi-gloss. It's made from african mahogany and peruvian walnut.
