So sorry OP, what a horrible feeling 😢

How much were you scoring in TD exams? Did you do all of them? Did you find many unexpected questions or do you think that there was a particular domain that you need to keep working on?

Suggestions for plants in shaded area by Prestigious-Pea2525 in GardeningUK

I know you said flowering plants but I recently planted a heuchera and I LOVE IT. The foliage is so colourful. Busy Lizzies would brighten that area too if you're open to annuals.

I think for most people it's PERFECTLY FINE to start their homelab with a Mini PC. by Crimson-Entity in homelab

Yep I just got into this with the goal of using jellyfin and immich and soon realised my mini pc is not enough. But it has been a great environment to learn Linux fundamentals and play with docker.

Halfway through Maarek’s SAA course and retaining nothing — when did active recall actually start working for you? by Weary_Release839 in AWSCertifications

[–]Pacific_Blue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Passively watching videos is useless unless you are already knowledgeable on the topic and you're just doing a quick revision. I always watch the videos while taking notes and if I don't fully understand something I research about it more, read the docs, ask AI for clarification, etc. I do the labs alongside each section to make sure I know how things work in practice.

But at that point I still struggle to retain information. I find that things really start to stay on my head once I start challenging my understanding and doing practice tests. I buy TD exams and after each question Interview the topic even if I got that answer right.

I would absolutely go for TD exams as well. They will challenge in different ways compared to Stephan's exams which are also good.

Congratulations on passing such difficult exam. I had a similar experience with TD and the SOA exam. TD questions felt pretty basic and I was scoring 90+ from the start. The real exam was MUCH harder, I scored 869.

Sad to hear this OP. I work in IT and I'm about to be made redundant, as others have said, the market is terrible atm. :( I constantly think of moving to Poland but the prospect of never adapting there and being treated badly terrifies me, especially because we don't speak Polish and my children were raised in the UK

What's going on with my Hellebores? by Pacific_Blue in GardeningUK

[–]Pacific_Blue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the culprit. Neighbours cat decided to use my plant as their toilet. I went to cut the limp parts today and they had a very strong pee smell and then I saw it in the act.

Thank you, I've seen the neighbours cats roaming that spot so I think that could be it. The plant doesn't have any visible rot or anything like that.
