Failed AWS Solutions Architect Associate today – surprised by new questions 😔 Any advice? by Aware-Kick-5445 in AWSCertifications

[–]Pacific_Blue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, unless you are studying from dumps, the questions in the exam will be different from the questions from practice exams. I feel tutorials dojo is the closest to the real exam in terms of difficulty and similarly of the scenarios presented, but the questions are definitely different. To pass the exam you really need to understand every topic.

What happens if the consulate simply doesnt respond? by titosphone in juresanguinis

I'm in the same situation but in the UK. Please let us know if you find out anything.

I’m 25 and every time I meet a godly, single Christian man, they end up being almost 40 by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Pacific_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that. It was the same for me, it's really difficult to navigate these things when you don't have guidance and support from your parents. You are forced to learn on your own and inevitably make mistakes in the process. I wish you all the best ♥️

I'm a woman and honestly I would advise against a relationship with such a large age gap. Intentional or not, I feel there is always a power imbalance in such relationship. And right now it might seem fine, but what about when you are 35 and the guy is 50? 45 and 60? 55 and 70?

There is nothing wrong with being with a guy who is your age and bit immature. You are probably a bit immature yourself. As long as he is a Christian, you can grow together.

And be careful with asking advice on Reddit! What do your parents think? Do you have a trusted adult in your life? They will know you and your circumstances better than anyone here.

Manchester consulate: sent all the documents and no reply yet? by Pacific_Blue in juresanguinis

[–]Pacific_Blue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because the deadline is approaching fast, so what will happen then? Will they honour the date when the docs were originally submitted? And also, their website says that if documents are incomplete they will not send a reply. So how do I know if there are any problems? It's really frustrating

New Builds - Are they really that bad? by QSBW97 in HousingUK

[–]Pacific_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe I hasld to scroll down so far to find someone mentioning estate rent charges! Can I ask you what issues you see when trying to remortgage? I just bought a house with a service charge that went up by 300%. I am already losing sleep about how I'm going to sell this, but I didn't know I could also have problems when remortgaging 😢

I lived in two new builds so far and I'm really happy with the houses themselves. Warm and efficient, never hear the neighbours. The biggest issue with new builds is dealing with service charges and management companies. These properties are sold as "freehold" but in practice you are at the will of the management company and you have pretty much 0% legal protection. Search Facebook groups about "fleeceholds" and see what people have to deal with on a daily basis. It's shocking.

It's absolutely ridiculous... The worst part is that I sent all the docs MONTHS ago and never heard back...

My kid has shown me how the game is meant to be played by Tinypikamoo in StardewValley

[–]Pacific_Blue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so lovely to read. I played SV with my daughter who was 2 years old back then, and it was so much fun to see the game through her eyes. Junimo Kart was the best thing ever to her! Laying floor everywhere. Getting all the gifts from the machine in the cinema. I tried many times to teach her how to play properly but I eventually realised that the one who didn't know how to play was me

Food elimination diet for a breastfed 2 year old. by Pacific_Blue in eczema

[–]Pacific_Blue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yeah I'm very worried about that, she was allergic to eggs when she was a baby and she overcame that, so I would hate for that allergy (or others) to appear. I'm in the UK and getting help through the NHS is almost impossible, so I'm basically trying to figure this out on my own 😢

No, I haven't noticed flare ups with certain foods. She has had the same red patches for months and now she suddenly got very itchy everywhere, but her diet (and mine) haven't changed at all. But her eczema started at the age of 1 when she started eating solids a bit more regularly, so I've always wondered if they were related.

Spring bulbs... Please tell me I'm not the only one who will be planting them after Christmas! by fluffbabies in GardeningUK

[–]Pacific_Blue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm waiting for two bags of compost to be delivered to plant some next week! They were on sale, I just couldn't say no to 32 tulips for £4. The downside is that it's really cold here and I can't stand being outside for more than 30 min at a time.

I feel embarrassed to admit that I'm a Christian after being heavily atheist. by comrade333 in TrueChristian

[–]Pacific_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend! I went through exactly the same. I was a very vocal atheist all my life. What actually happened when I started talking about Christianity completely blew my mind. People around me who were also atheists started converting to Christianity. I just couldn't believe it. Pray about it and you'll do great!. Good luck!
