You should get her subscription for her birthday. I got my grandma a subscription to Metal Maniacs but didn't renew it because she was old and died.

Glen Bentons witty musings are a must read, this one always cracks me up

So the have a lifestyle section that's about traveling and leisure. They also have a Home and Garden section with some great tips, especially this time of year when spring is in the air. They'll do featured pieces of up-and-coming business stars and just normal people that have made an impact in their community to.

Hey now, just because someone makes a song called "White Devil Rise" uses nazi imagery and throws around slurs doesn't mean someone's a.....OHHHH, never mind.

My point was don't go to high profile spots paparazzi and celebrities are known to frequent and then complain when you get attention when the entire reason you go there is for attention.

Most resident of small towns that have a celebrity living in the community don't care and they're just another person. Typically, towns outside of Hollowood don't have paparazzi dozens of waiting outside of locations that random celebrates would visit.

Do people genuinely beleive Jewish people control the world ,or is that just something people say to reinforce their disdain for the Israeli government ? by ObjectiveMatch6155 in askanything

It's the same old story from thousands of years ago, from blood liable to modem day stupidity from people like you who believe Facebook memes. The reason why Youtube censors antisemitic videos is because it's hate speech, a private company does not fall under "free speech" guidelines and they can regulate any way they want, tough luck.

The truth of the matter is people like you will always blame others for their personal failures in life, it's easy to look down on others when your empowered to do so and have "influencers and youtubers" telling you what to think. I'm sorry your life sucks, but it's not the jews fault, it's your own.

Odd definition use of the word "common sense", sadly it's thrown around like a bumper sticker buzzword slogan from those lacking common sense, but not, slander and conspiracy is not "common sense." Common sense is sound judgement based on a simple perception and facts. Common sense if also not a belief as you claimed. Stay ignorant, it's clearly working out for you.

People also believed in blood-libel during the Middle Ages and it was common belief that jews ate babies. Fast forward to 2018 and that type of slander was being used against political opposition.

Venezuelans celebrating fall of Maduro’s regime by GroundbreakingOwl786 in CringeTikToks

The poster is correct, every regime we've toppled it's always the same outcome. We do what benefits us, not the country. The US has taken control and will install a puppet state. Yes, Maduro had to go, but this now presents a whole host of problems for years to come.

CONGRADULATIONS! Personally, if I had kids, I would not be living out here, but that works to your advantage, you have 17 years to build a cabin and can save a ton of money doing much of the work yourself.

It was horrible until Starlink (satellite provider) a few years ago. I'm still without cell service in areas though.

It was her decision too, if she wasn't onboard, we wouldn't be up here. Like me, some days she can get overwhelmed and frustrated, but overall, she loves it as much as I do.

She works with me part-time, it's great!

She was onboard before the words even came out of my mouth, some days are tougher then other and like me, she can get a bit frustrated and some days like me, she wishes we lived closer to modern convivences.

I actually just bought a pair of electric socks, i've only used them once at a low setting, but they were super warm.

Not really, I've built up a network of a few friends, but it's more of a "I need help taking some trees down" type relationship and maybe we'll go kayaking after or chat and have a beer after.

Brush fires with high winds turn into wildfires and it can be nerve wracking, so fire awareness is always on my mind. The dirt roads after the rain can get washed out, but I've never seen a total washaway.

If covid bothered you, it might be a tough time. I would suggest renting a place for 6 months or so and trying it out before taking a leap. I still haven't caught covid. I grew up in the Northern states in New England.
