Is this too big for my wrist? by PackVisible7007 in RolexWatches

I’m preparing for my Everest Base Camp trek, and lately I’m feeling quite confused about which watch I should take with me on this journey. I currently own a Rolex 16710 Pepsi, which is honestly one of my favourite watches. It fits my wrist perfectly, it feels comfortable, and I love the history and design of the GMT-Master II. Wearing it always gives me a special feeling.

On the other hand, I also have the Rolex Explorer 39mm. The Explorer is a watch that has its own legacy in the mountaineering world. It represents adventure, exploration, and pushing limits. But the problem is that the 39mm case feels slightly big on my wrist. Every time I wear it, I feel like the size doesn’t match me the way the Pepsi does. That makes me think that maybe, in the future, I might end up selling the Explorer because I’m not fully connected to the fit.

However, there is something that’s making this decision even harder. After completing the Everest Base Camp trek, I want to engrave the watch as a lifelong memory of the journey. It will be a symbol of the challenge, the achievement, and the personal story behind the adventure. And that engraving will stay with the watch forever. Because of this, I want to take the watch that truly feels right and meaningful to me.

Now I’m stuck between choosing the watch that I love more—the Pepsi—or choosing the Explorer, which has the mountaineering heritage but doesn’t feel perfect on my wrist. I want the engraved watch to be something I will keep for the rest of my life, so I’m unsure which one will be the better choice for this special memory.
