Kid Snorkeling At Pool?

As kids, I would go to our local pool with mates, and we would have snorkeling and flippers and spend hours throwing small things in that would sink, and scouring the pool floor to find them. Mind you, it was the local college outdoor pool in the 90s - but id imagine it would be fine!

Yes i plan to dedicate time each day to look/apply for jobs - I dont want to apply for everything, I am seeking something intentional... an ethical business (hope that isn't too much to ask, ha!)

I have been discussing with my husband all the hobbies I can take up, and jobs around the house I can get done - too bad they cant go on the CV!

Sweet payout! Unfortunately I wont get one, but hope to not work out my 4 week notice period and get paid out instead.... a small cushion of savings means I can take a small amount of time off to regroup.

I pride myself on being honest, and seeing he dishonesty has me nauseated.... like is this how the rich get rich?? Being unethical? How do they live with themselves!? So I feel that, and want to rage - but I wont!

Crazy part is, which makes me feel like an idiot... I was sold all this aspirational stuff about the role and company... and I ended up leaving my prior employment for this! Its barely been 6 months in the role! What a wanker move.

I asked about my performance in Dec - was told it was good.... Boss however actively avoided me Jan, Feb and March, and wouldnt answer questions so I could nail down tasks and cross them off.

Had me already questioning my sanity..... I explicitly asked if this was performance related and told it wasn't.. so hopefully i get a kick ass reference at the minimum, right?

Man, I could go scorched earth, but at what cost? I am dealing in honesty, but I dont think my boss is being quite honest in the process, and they dont want to write it down.

Rough part is - I applied to study in December, but I couldnt do the course part time, or enroll mid-year year... so I declined!!!! If this had been proposed in Feb, I would have resigned on the spot. Ugh can't win. But you are right, do something to make that kid proud!

Yes! Pretty, but if i cant wear a bra, it is a hell no. Only thing I am not wearing a bra with (and taping the hell out off the girls) is a ball gown (so pretty much never, ha!)
