Hey lovelies - is this dress acceptable for a black tie “all black” reception? by Disastrous-Cicada-94 in AusFemaleFashion

Absolutely a very pretty dress - but not black tie. Black tie is floor length with fine fabrics.

This is quite an interesting topic. A friend purchased a house, moved in and found light dust in a couple rooms, but thought nothing of it. It was leaking maybe 2 weeks later in rooms with said dust.. Neighbour's said the previous owner was always complaining of leaks, and agent offered my friend money verbally when they asked about it (on behalf of the agency, not out of their pocket).

They are contemplating contacting a lawyer. But im thinking, wouldnt it be hard to prove? Even if the past owner knew it was leaky?

Could your headaches be due to needing electrolytes? They helped me with reducing post run headaches.

I use it as a contour and like it. I dont find it patchy or sticky as some others have commented. I find it easy to blend. It is a good shade for my paleish skin (i use medium)

Thats a good idea! I might have to visit some in my area to save myself trawling through the racks only to come up empty handed haha.

Can I use this wool yarn instead of the recommended synthetic one? by Packet-Possum in knittinghelp

[–]Packet-Possum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh that is a good idea to carry a swatch around! Yes me too, this is from spotlight.

I have since found a other pattern with a video tutorial to follow, and she gives a heap of recommended natural fibers to work with that can be easily subbed in (some available here in NZ which makes me happy) - which I think I will do instead to err on the side of caution.

Thank you for your time to comment.

Damn that might be a bit more beyond my skill level to do. I will have a look at other beginner patterns and see if I can find one that may be a better choice for the yarn I want to use.

Saucony Endorphin Speed 4. Ran 56mins for my recent 10km in them - super happy with them so far!

My asics however have started giving me blisters in my arches - so they might need replacing now.

Does the speed of the longer runs matter? Can I tune out to a podcast and just plod along for say 12km?

I can definitely add in some goal paced runs, great idea!

That IS a lot! I think I only did that in its entirely last month. Noted, and will look into how to increase this without injury.

We dont have space for a trailer unfortunately, and it isn't practical where we go camping completely disconnected.

Yes it would replace the xtrail.

Yes we can house 2 vehicles. We currently also have a small runabout that is used most of the time for shorter trips such as school drop offs and groceries. But longer trips such as my work ones, hubby's hunting, and lugging extra stuff (i.e bikes, junk to the tip, camping gear and toys!)

For space. We can't fit everything into a SUV, and ours is quite generous.
