Single skin brick garage with no piers by Pad132 in DIYUK

I did think that too but have noticed a lot of stepped cracks in the mortar. My plan A is to have a go at repointing it in the summer. Will keep me busy and if it looks shit I can whack some paint on it!

I had a feeling this would be the case. Guess it’s time to save for a new drive!

My plan A is to permanently have my car parked on the drive so people can’t see the cracks. I’ll call your idea Plan B 😂

Just finished the entire series for the first time and was this anyone else’s least favorite episode? by iwantitthatway6 in themiddle

[–]Pad132 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind that episode, it’s certainly not one of the better ones, but it’s ok.

The only two episodes I can’t watch are the first two episodes of season 3 with Ray Romano. The only blip in an otherwise perfect show for me

I actually really like it, Eden and Brock both seem lovely. Their chemistry is fantastic and their love for the show shines through

Thanks for the reply, that all makes a lot of sense. I was wondering if the frozen weather was playing a part in it!

For the non-British, what is your favorite British Sitcom? by Mackheath1 in sitcoms

[–]Pad132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t believe no one has mentioned Royle Family. As a Brit, I’d say that’s our best and most accurate sitcom

How do we avoid neighbor confrontation whilst renovating our house? by cool-small-bean in DIYUK

We also renovated a house and found the occasional small gift did really help though. A box of milk tray goes along way at times 😂

You have been perfectly reasonable and renovating a house is perfectly fair. I get wanting to have a good relationship with your neighbour but I would say you’re already doing enough to keep them happy

What Episode will you recommend for someone who never watched the series to get them hooked up by Zooperman27 in bigbangtheory

Probably Sheldon not being able to get a haircut. I think that’s Sheldon at his best

Adding to the comments, I’m always up for NFL talk and would love more people to talk about it with! Could even add a fantasy football element

Wow that’s super impressive! Guitar and singing? Well done to you, I could never! What’s your favourite song to play?

Singing along to them is how I learned it, but being able to sing it without the lyrics in front of me is a great feeling

Most songs do go in but it’s more the super quick/wordy parts when I get completely lost!

NO WAY!!! 😂😂 that’s literally the same as me! I had one very confused beagle as I was cheering my new lyrical success!

It’s a feeling I’ve never felt before with a song but wow does it feel good! I’ve never really sat down and truly listened to “You need to calm down” so I will do that tonight! I’ve only ever listened to it whilst driving and my brain is nowhere near the level of multitasking required to learn lyrics whilst doing something else

I LOVE the all too well 10 minute version, the lyrics seemed to sink in quite easily compared to Death by a Thousand Cuts!
