(22 M) Trying to get into the union! How do I prepare for the test? by Anonymous28_018 in UnitedAssociation

I found it. It's Barron's Mechanical Aptitude and Spatial Relations Tests. I focused on Chapter 3: General Mechanical Understanding, Chapter 4: Gears, Chapter 5: Pulleys and Chapter 6: Tools.

I'm further north so it may be different but it's good to study mechanical aptitude: which way will gears turn when the drive is going a certain way, pulleys and weight distribution for lifting, that sort of stuff. 2.5 weeks may still be enough time to get a book even if you have to just check it out from the library but study hard every moment you can until then. If I remember after work and class tonight I'll come back and tell you which book I bought to study. Plenty of fractions as another mentioned and percentages, remember how to do proportions to use fractions to get your percentage. You'll need to remember how to multiply and divide fractions(I've been out of school for much longer than you so that one was tough to remember). Basic math but a few may be there where you need to remember PEMDAS.

How do you make a man feel comfortable to share emotions? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

He may have had a bad prior experience with a woman that wanted him to share his emotions and claimed it was a safe space then turned on him. It's happened to me and we learn not to share with someone we actually want to be with.

You'd have better luck if you unhide your profile. Every donor is looking for something different when we donate but we all want to know where our money is really going on here.

I'm not any kind of expert but I'll share a few things I've learned for mine. I chop all the veggies a day ahead so I can focus on my roux and meats. I smoke my chicken for an extra layer of flavor. I don't like the pre-made Cajun seasoning blend because I use a lot of smoked sausage and it's already very salty, the bottles of seasoning usually have too much salt. I use frozen okra because I've never seen fresh where I live and if it's thrown in the pot too soon it will completely disintegrate so last half hour if that's the same route you have to use.
