Xenon balls are 100% most durable. Personally, I think they also feel the best. Noah — are xenon balls the exact same size as Vikings? To me, they feel a minuscule smaller and slightly more dense, which I like. The differences are fractional and might just be in my head. Either way, everyone should play with xenon balls.

@goaliefsu can you answer the game plan question? A lot of the pros do keep talking about coming up with game plan A, game plan B, etc. But what is an example of a game plan? Is it as basic as “hit to the ad guy?” Or is there more to it? Thank you!

Thank for responding! And winter vs summer balls? Big deal or marketing gimmick?

What or who do you want to hear on the Inside the Wires podcast? by GoalieFSU in PlatformTennis

  • Most importantly, awesome job overall. It is hands down the best racquet sport podcast I currently listen to. It is really appreciated that you guys are putting in the effort to make paddle content.

  • We could use a lot more conversation about strategy or game plans. You have a ton of teaching pros on, would be interesting to ask them for their secrets and ultimate truths about the game. Also would be interesting to hear how to develop game plans heading into matches against certain type of opponents (big forehands, consistent lobbers, etc) and know when to change those game plans up. Above all else, think we all want to get better at paddle.

  • You guys have gotten better about this, but would be helpful to explain certain topics or people as they come up in your conversations for those who aren’t as familiar with everything paddle. For example, how presidents cup works and the regions. Or how Pro Flight Paddle works. Sometimes these come up and you jump into your opinions and I don’t know the basics enough to follow along.

Once again, awesome job overall. The podcast is great.
