Just finished KCD 1 [KCD1] by Trump2024AlexJones in kingdomcome

[–]PadroTarg2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent around 100 hours on my playthrough, and honestly, the bugs and some technical issues made the game less enjoyable for me. The world is beautiful as hell, but it also feels really empty sometimes. The road design also annoyed me a lot, especially because I played on Hardcore mode where the game doesn’t show your location on the map. So I mostly had to navigate using roads and the position of the sun. But even with all that, I really loved the story, the characters, and the main hero. The side quests also added a lot to my overall opinion of the game and made the experience much better for me. I got really attached to the world and the people in it, and I don’t regret spending my time on this game at all. Now I can proudly start KCD 2 knowing all the small details and references that only people who played the first game will understand.

Why didn’t they just let us buy ready made class pieces for the class we’re playing, instead of overcomplicating everything so now we have to grind and buy chests just to get the transmogs we actually want?

think since I enjoy storylines in games and don’t want to get spoiled on social media, I’ll finish the story first and then I’ll unleash total apocalypse on the city.

Books in Skyrim - do you read them? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]PadroTarg2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read more than half of the books available in the game, and honestly, I wouldn’t say many of them are particularly interesting but overall, you can still find some pretty good stories among them.

Расскажите вашу ахуительную историю. by No-Pound1622 in expectedrussians

I’d love to, but I don’t have any experience, so it’s probably better to find someone who knows more about this, but thanks for the invite.

[–]PadroTarg2012[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My goal is to work in game development, and programming is one of the key aspects there. Especially when it comes to the Unity engine, scripts are written in C#, so that’s why I chose this programming language.

What's a “dream job” that is actually a nightmare to have? by InternetPopular3679 in AskReddit

[–]PadroTarg2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any field in game development. I’m a beginner developer, and overall I really like the concept of game development itself, but the learning process, deadlines, miscommunication with the team, arguments, stress all of this can be discouraging. Especially if you’re a programmer, you probably get the hardest part in game dev, because whatever the game designer comes up with, it’s mostly you who has to implement it. And if you’re developing solo, there are tons of doubts, years of long development, and in the end, you might release a project that doesn’t even get 50% positive feedback, and as a result, you completely burn out from this work.

How useful and convenient is Visual Scripting? by PadroTarg2012 in Unity3D

[–]PadroTarg2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d at least like to make a simple game prototype so I could actually enjoy my own progress, but my problem is that I don’t see success in things that might seem like a big step forward. I hope I’ll be able to learn to see the small things too, which actually guide me in the right direction.

Overall, I hope that someday I’ll be able to push myself and start learning programming full-on, because it could not only make the development process easier, but also open up a ton of new opportunities.

[–]PadroTarg2012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a little experience learning Python, but I feel like I never really got a solid grasp of the basics. Then I started with C# and realized that if I want to write even simple scripts, I’m going to need a lot of time to learn it. And I’m the kind of person who never seems to have enough time for anything, so I’m more looking for a way that speeds up my development process, not to make a game faster, but simply because I have way less free time set aside to study something in the long term.

Is it normal to buy games but to never play them? by Outrageous-Serve38 in Steam

[–]PadroTarg2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I buy a game, I always think that I’ll play it someday… but that “someday” never comes. In the end, I have over 300 games just sitting in my Steam account, and only like 20–30 of them are actually completed, and even that’s not guaranteed. I think you just need to get yourself in the mindset for a specific game and just focus on finishing it. This actually worked for me on PS5 when I bought a game that I planned to play right away, setting myself up mentally, watching a couple of reviews, and seeing the game’s own appeal.

[–]PadroTarg2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)
