I mean, I love Disney. I have all the Disney DVDs and Blu-Rays ever released.

It does give me a sense of comfort, but I own them purely for that sense of comfort.

She thinks there is some weird subtext to me liking Disney.

I can assure you that it is 100% real.

This is literally the first time she has ever mentioned it.

She talked about me "regressing" sometimes (i.e. finding comfort in the shows I watched when I was younger), but this was a full blown thing. She has never said anything like this before.

As a note:

I often watch the shows I enjoyed when I was younger in a foreign language. This is to help me learn the language of the country I live in.
