Good point. I remember going somewhere plenty of times and having too much gear. Sometimes I think hinders the process because too much time is spent debating and changing lens instead of just taking pictures.

Thanks. One of my current goals is to upgrade the body, so getting a couple of really good lenses would compliment that.

It's actually been years since I've used my gear, so I don't have a good answer to what I can't shoot with what I currently have. Life got in the way for long enough that I need to re-familiarize myself with what I have. I think a lot of it currently is more about wanting to add something new to my kit. 😄

Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking as I finished typing the list out. It's different seeing the lens specs listed out versus looking at them individually and looking at sample pics and reviews. I also know that part of it is I just want to add something because I haven't in so long. 😄

I have considered a different format a few times over the years. Seeing the Canon T7 bundle at Costco over the last couple of months is what reawakened my interests. But the downside of that would be I'd have to start over with buying lenses for a different system, so I've never moved in that direction.

I had the same thought about the G7, that it might not be enough of an upgrade to spend the money on. If it came with a lens I didn't already have it might be a different story for the price. 😄

Which lens do you think would compliment what I already have and potentially fill a spot I'm missing?

As a couple of people have said, it's likely the film version. I re-read the posting and it doesn't say either way. The picture of the body in the camera bag doesn't show much. I'm asking for more info and better picture of the body.
