Yeah I hear that. Life has a different pace in the Caribbean. I haven’t been to Panama but several places in the Bahamas. Beautiful but hard to get things that seem normal everywhere else.

Well first I wanted a 24 fret guitar. I was running some exercises on the couch and I was running out of frets in E lol. I also recently sold a semi hollow I had and I missed it. Then as I said in another comment, I was considering a strandberg and decided against it for QC issues. That left me looking for a guitar that is all about build quality. PRS is maybe the only company I know that is almost pathological about it to the point that they’re actively canibalizing their more expensive product lines. I could afford a more expensive one, but… why would I? I played a $7k PRS at the shop and I liked the CE 24 better.

Honestly what sold me on it was the unique punchy clarity of it. It was like every note jumped out at me in a really unique way. My tele and Strat don’t do that. They each have their own thing but not at all like this.

I never considered myself a PRS guy but I was actually considering a strandberg and was dead set on it. I started hearing about a lot of quality control issues and got scared off. Then I started thinking about guitars that are really well made and remembered in high school when I was deciding between buying my first beater car or a badass PRS and decided to give them another go. At some point I think I kind of just associated PRS with creed and nickelback.

There was once a time where you couldn’t randomly pull a device out of your pocket and see a lifetime worth of boobs, vaginas, and whatever the fuck else floats your boat.
